Resonance

This is an exhibition that tells the story of Aran from a weavers point of view and of the traces we leave behind in a landscape of the animals and fauna that dwell in it and how we have shaped it, there are many stories to tell.

I am currently working on a large exhibit exploring the many aspects of my home island of Inis Mór. Story-telling has been an influential part of what I do; my grandfather was the last of the real Seanachies on Inis Mór, and also the last weaver here, so I suppose I am in one way continuing his legacy in another medium. I hope to finish this exhibit by 2026.
